I met up with Jolene last night (initially, for dinner. But we both were not hungry) because someone could not make it :? We went to Suntec City and started window shopping. Wait, why did we go there for? Oh, yeah. She wanted to check out the men’s shirts at Topman.

According to her, she says that Topman shirts usually caters for metrosexuals or gays. So the smallest size should fit us (since we have problems wearing ladies’ cut ) She started going through rack after rack before choosing some shirts to try on. I spotted this really nice looking collar-tee and tried it on.

Since we can’t take pictures in the store, I did it secretly with her N70 cellphone

Awesome collar-tee
Trying on the collar-tee and a cap

I look weird here. HAHA

It’s the time of the year again where I will wish two guys close to my heart a very happy birthday.

Joel, I know you hardly come here and all that but your jie wants to wish you a very happy 19th birthday! I can’t believe time has passed so fast. I just want to wish you all the best in whatever you do

It’s also dear Jun Wei’s 23rd birthday today (I’m so sorry for the mistake and I can’t believe I still think you’re 22 dangit!)

We were supposed to head to The Balcony for lunch initially but I guess we were both too tired and ended up napping at my place after church ended. Ah, well, I guess eating there will have to wait for another day

Whistling a new tune
Hoping it would come soon
And the sun was wondering if it should
Stay away for a day
‘Til the feeling went away
And the sky was falling on the clouds were
Dropping and the rain
Forgot how to bring salvation
The dogs were barking at the new moon
Whistling a new tune
Hoping it would come soon
So that they could die

I can’t believe that amidst all that’s going on, Nelly Furtado is my source of relief from all these… mess.

Anyway, Moonlight is buried in Jun Wei’s garden. We both know she will be somewhere happier. Hammy Heaven, I’m sure.

One of the things I hope to achieve this year in 2007 is to blog more regularly. So far, it’s not going as planned, I’m afraid. It seems like too many things have happened between the last post and this. Too many events, too many feelings. Too confused, lost and hurt. But, gah, I wish I could do something about… everything.

I watched Death Note 2: The Last Name on Wednesday night. It was a nice movie that I’ll probably only watch it once. I think I still prefer the manga better.

Absolut Vodka I love Absolut Vodka And the SPCT chalet from Wednesday to Friday sure provided me with Raspberri and Vanilla The thing is that I kinda mixed it with ice cream soda not to mention having Chivas with jasmine tea, I got a little too tipsy  I got better in the end but not after vomiting, suffering chills and a splitting headache. Meeh. I wonder how everyone could put up with me :?

Some traditions just have to go on.

Stuck in another ball
Purple balls at Marina Square this year.

Stuck in a bunch of them
We just love getting stuck in Christmas balls

Christmas Eve, my family went to the (rather) new Velocity at Novena Square to have our dinner at Pepper Lunch. It was my third time there but the first time I tried something other than the Beef Pepper Rice. I had the Hamburger and Chicken Combo. Pretty tasty

Firstly, I’m so glad that I managed to get sweet-child.net back! I forgot that it’ll expire earlier this month and forgot to renew it. That’s why some who tried to come to my site had some weird page instead  Thank goodness I worked more hours last month. At least I have enough to cover my other two domains when it expires around this time, too

Anyway, I was supposed to have a stingray dinner with Kang Jun gege (aka kkgg) at the famous Block 85 market last night but, guess what? Yes, it had to close down for washing

Bedok Central is a horribly boring place with nowhere to eat besides hawker and coffee shop food. The only fast food places are McDonald’s, Burger King and Long John Silver. The only restaurant over there is Pizza Hut. So after meeting him at Bedok Interchange, we decided to head over to Pizza Hut.

But, well, guess what? Yes. It closed down  Yes, just our luck. Gah!

We settled for zhucao (if I am not wrong, the direct translation is “cook fried”) at S21 coffee shop (if I remembered correctly). I trusted Kang Jun to order the food. When it came, it really look good

Chilli kang kong, claypot tofu, sweet and sour pork ribs and the very tasty mai pian xia. I thought mai pian xia meant “sell fake prawns” and when I told Kang Jun that, he gave me this look:

Mai pian xia is actually slightly similar to tempura but it’s fried with cereal as well (that’s what mai pian meant). So, imho, it’s really much tastier than tempuras!

Over dinner, we talked about our childhood cartoons and toys, the movies screening recently and, of course, canoe polo.

Yep, I had fun. He had fun. Dinner was enjoyable. Even without stingray

It’s been a long time since I last blogged. But great news! Lots of pictures for the eyes

I had no sleep on the night before the chalet so after gym training on Tuesday, I had to take a few winks on the train ride from Dover to Pasir Ris.

Snoozing on the train
Joycelyn’s thighs are great pillows

When we got into our room, we started changing into our pyjamas for the PYJAMAS PARTY! We took crazy pictures in which I was not involved in them since I was busy playing Shrek 2 with Joycelyn on Xbox in which I had rented earlier. The others did really weird and hilarious stuff with the toilet rolls and pillows.
