Drinking is Love (once again)

After the last time I went drinking (and when I say drinking, I meant drink a lot), I have been refraining from drinks altogether. However, after the last drinking session, I drank for another three days straight.

I drank on Saturday because I was down. And, apparently, a childhood friend was down as well. So I offered to drink with him on Sunday night.

We went cheap drinking by meeting near Bedok Reservoir and purchased beer, ice and some snacks at the supermarket before making our way up to the top of the multi-storey carpark.

It was nice, just sitting at the top, talking and sharing every other moment :)

Last night, on a rather last minute note, I met up with Sam, a primary school classmate of mine. I suggested drinking (again!) and so we had beer and martinis

A random picture of Jonathan Tay drinking at my workplace last Friday as the guys came over to celebrate Jon’s 23rd :)

I have another picture of Jonathan Ang and myself but I look super retarded and Jon Ang looks super act cute. Plus, it was a rather drunk Jon Tay that took the picture :?

On a random note, I went to the hairdresser’s last night and I like my shorter, thinner and straighter hair right now! :D

Liverpool lost

My internship started last week and it’s boring. Well, and somewhat demanding. This is a reason why I will never get a full-time job at the office.

Since last week, I have been pulling a five-day-six-night week. I am somewhat amazed that I can just sleep for about three hours a day, pull a nine-hour long office job, then a seven-hour shift at the bar. I guess I can now claim the title Charles gave me a few months ago: Superwoman :D

It was pretty much a lousy day yesterday with oversleeping, getting to internship an hour late, getting crap from the higher up folks, being demanded to do stuff that gets rejected 7863458976 times, re-doing those stuff 7863458977 times, listening to someone tell me something that I have been suppressing for months so now it becomes a reality, missing training because of internship, getting to work late because of internship…

Okay, basically, internship sucks.

That is why I wanted to go drinking. So, after work at half past three this morning, some colleagues and I ended up at a bar drinking beer and Chivas and watching the Chelsea-Liverpool match. I am not much of a soccer fan but I supported Liverpool this morning. In fact, everyone else was supporting them. But darn Chelsea! If that penalty was not scored, it could have been a draw.

Charlene was the only one rejoicing and making a whole lot of noise, irritating the shit out of everyone else  (She is only supporting them because Liverpool kicked her team, Arsenal, out.)

I enjoyed myself tremendously. It made me forget (more or less) about my lousy day. And it made me look forward to working tonight :)

Yeah, I love working :)

on the Loof

So Jon Tay and Rey came over with their friends Jon Ang, Roland and Dennis. And what a mad bunch those five guys are! Firstly, Jon Tay was totally jet-lagged as he just got back from New York. So he looked totally haggard. And Jon Ang kept complaining that I could never recognize him. Which was totally true because the other time when I went clubbing, I did not realize it was him as I kept thinking it was Roland

I think the captions Jon Ang placed for the photos in his Facebook album were hilarious.

High on nuggets

The Sunday before, we were two clowns dressed alike (black pants/skinny jeans, Hollister Co. tees, sneakers and sling bags). It was so amusing we stayed out all night and Weili did crazy stuff. Check it out:

Last Sunday, we were five idiots gorging on 80 pieces of chicken nuggets (with curry sauce!) from MacDonald’s. My colleagues and I actually got high on them  Not to mention our stomachs felt like bursting. It is going to be amusing whether they will continue eating nuggets this Sunday. I won’t be joining them though :(

Anyway, it’s birthday time!

Happy 24th Birthday Jun Wei Sweet!

I guess you don’t want to take pictures with your candle or me anymore :( But it’s okay! You’ve got a spankin’ nice gift :D (Yeah, it is so hot it burnt 87346589 holes in my pocket. Ha!)

Happy 20th Birthday Joel di!

So you’re older once again

Let’s see here. I am still waiting for the photos from the Canoe Polo 3-on-3 Challenge. How was it? Tiring. Try competing eight matches overnight. I described my injuries to my friend and the response I got was, “Sounds like you’ve been to a war.” :?

So I shall post a couple of pictures of Jolene and I at MoS with Rey and her coursemates :D

slammed into the year

Someone texted me this that almost made me laugh out loud in public:

Happy new year to you, my cute, lil’, butch-lookalike, spit-loving friend.. =D

New Year’s Eve was terribly packed! My workplace was slammed with 8974509239047 customers trying to order drinks! By the time 0000 hours rolled around, the fireworks began and the balloons were released, I was standing by the bar, totally exhausted, waiting for my drinks order to arrive so that I could send it to a customer.

I can’t remember how many freaking champagne bottles I opened, but let’s say that the bar ran out of Moet and ran low on Mumms.

Since my New Year was quite boring, a couple of pictures from Christmas :)

It’s Been Tiring

Lots of things; Too little time.
This will be a first:

  • The whole of last week was working for the Fujitsu roadshow in school with Joycelyn and Lilin. Worked non-stop for almost nine hours straight. Got used to eating lunch at 1730 hours.
  • Ended up sleeping in school for three nights to save time on transportation.
  • Saturday’s polo training was fair. Had friendly matches with TP and the national team.
  • Still working a few days for the roadshow this and next week.
  • Very, very, very tired.
  • Campfire’s tomorrow. Can’t wait :)

23 more days…
