Over the weekend, Zayden Asher was having a high fever but when we brought him to the doctor’s on Monday night, he couldn’t pinpoint what exactly caused the fever. But when rashes broke out yesterday, my mom said it could be false measles. False measles (roseola) affects kids between 6 to 24 months and can’t be diagnosed until the rashes appear (which does after the fever breaks).

The funny part was that Zayden didn’t seem really sick. Aside from the high temperature on Sunday and Monday, he was still very active and happy. Well, he was crankier than usual and his appetite wasn’t that good but if you didn’t know he was burning up, he look like any other healthy baby 😕

Anyway, he’s 8 months old today 😀 (it usually slips my mind whenever the clock strikes 12 on the 13th but I’m always reminded because my mom always text me to congratulate on the X number of months I’ve been breastfeeding)

… he is giving himself a presenta diving trip this weekend 😆

He turned 22 on Sunday (Yay! and oopsa late post) and we had lunch with my family at Koon Kee Restaurant & Pub and dinner with his parents at Crystal Jade La Mian Xiao Long Bao at Ngee Ann City.

Anyway, the weekend was spent doing up ATCs and some digital layouts (since Saturday was (inter)National Scrapbooking Day). Do check out the two layouts I made 🙂

The Great Singapore Sale (GSS) is nearing and I hope the local scrapbook store have some goodies I can get my hands on 😀

I had almost forgotten one exciting thing! I won something at a giveaway on Michelle’s blog! So exciting! (And I was complaining about not winning anything over the weekend.)

Sooo… I saw this on Rachel’s blog and decided to do it too 😀

1. When do you feel happiest?
When I get what I want! Haha… Not really. When I feel loved, doing what I love, and loving those around me.

2. How do you take care of yourself?
I’m terrible at this. I snack most of the time and forget my meals sometimes. I guess I am trying to stay positive with the right mindset.

3. Are you internally (by yourself) or externally (by others) motivated?
I believe I need to be externally motivated. But, ultimately, I’m still internally motivated. I have to convince myself to do things then things get done 😕

4. What do you do for fun?
I find this a rather tough question now because I can’t find the time to enjoy anything fun! But I love photography, cable-skiing and getting crafty 🙂

5. What intimidates you?
Social gatherings where I’ll usually feel awkward among strangers and second degree acquaintances.

6. What is something you’re proud of?
Getting my diploma. It’s weird but I had always thought that I wouldn’t complete my studies in that way 😆

ate durian before.

8. Favorite vacation spot.
I’ve only been to Malaysia and Batam. Neither of which are my favourite. I can’t wait to have the chance to go New York City or Hawaii though. Surf’s up! 😀
