I feel like I managed to accomplish certain things today. Perhaps it’s because Zayden Asher is recovering and he’s not as cranky as before πŸ˜€ I managed to do a layout for Scrap that Baby! and two journal pages (have yet to upload those though). I also managed to upload some stuff into my Flickr πŸ˜€

(If I didn’t mention, I’m taking an art journal class at the moment and it’s awesome! :D)

Zayden Asher
Zayden laughed when I opened this photo to edit.

My sister returned this whole stack of DVDs I’d lent her the other day and as they were sitting around the floor (totally not back on the shelf yet), I decided to watch them. Yesteday, it was Toy Story. But he got bored after the opening scene (I actually quoted every line out loud!) Guess what today’s Pixar movie was?

Just a note: I love getting (relevant) comments everywhere πŸ˜›

I know it’s really odd for someone like me to adore High School Musical. But I can’t help it. The songs are pretty catchy and good, plus, the choreography for the dance moves are really, really impressive.

Not to mention Zac and Vanessa just totally melt my heart whenever they are on-screen. Did I mention that Lucas is like, good? He can really pull the hot pink pants off!

And, yeah, I watched High School Musical 3: Senior Year twice in theaters in a day πŸ˜€

The last time I watched a movie was… when Andrew wanted to watch 21 and I wanted to watch Wanted (because it’s just plain cool to shoot the wings off a fly. Well, and plain mean, but whatever).

Basically, it wasn’t too long ago. But last Saturday, I watched two movies in a day. (And, I can’t find a link between the previous paragraph and this. Then again, I can be very random and say things that have totally no link. My colleagues realized this recently when I kept jumping from basketball to my mom to the weather. Really. I’m such a sad kid.)

After our shift on Friday, Charlene started persuading everyone else to catch a midnight movie. We were all going, “Is there even a showtime at four in the morning?” And it turns out that there are shows and I really wanted to catch Hellboy 2: The Golden Army but we missed it by about 15 minutes πŸ™ So we caught Hancock instead.

It’s not a great show to spend $10.50 on but it’s quite cool. The plot is quite… different, I think. Jianling, Allan and I fell asleep since we were so tired. But I enjoyed it because Charlize Theron is HOT πŸ˜€

By the time I got home, it was about 7 and I slept till 6 in the evening because I was going to watch Hellboy 2 with Andrew and some of his friends πŸ˜€

Hellboy 2 was cool! I never watched the first one and the only reason why I wanted to catch the second was because I saw the trailer and it looked pretty neat. The Red Guy is really funny. Saufi and I liked the way he handled things—giving a punch to the opponent in the middle of a sentence πŸ˜†

It wasn’t fantastically fantastic. Still, I enjoyed the movie.

On a random note, Simpang Bedok is a recent chill out place, again.

More than a week without internet connection is really awful. Thus, the reason why I have not been online lately πŸ™

Anyway, I have much to blog but since it has passed (and it was rather long ago), why bother? πŸ™‚ Anyway, I have a brand-spankin’ new Sony DSC T300. And, as Sabrina (from Sabrina, the Teenage Witch) would go: “WHOO HOO!”

(You have to forgive me. I have been watching seasons 2 to 6 whenever I did not feel like doing anything this holiday.)

Before I forget, Happy Birthday Shane! I know you’re an old man but that’s still no reason to carry on living like one πŸ˜› You’re a really cool dude with a great temper and a fun person to be with. Your laughter is like, darn unique and I can always hear you at the other end of the bar πŸ˜† Cheers, dude! (And it’s not like you’ll ever read this anyway.)

Back to the topic: Juno.

When I wiki-ed that, I got a Roman goddess and my birth month. But what I really wanted to find was this:
Juno

Yeah, I know. It took me forever to find time to go to a theatre just to catch a movie. What more everyone else I knew had already caught it and people who have not are not into dramady and those who have not just do not have the time to. I know, how sad can I be? πŸ˜†

So, anyway, I just like the note Juno gave to Vanessa:

Vanessa
If you’re still in, I’m still in.

And so that’s where “Anyone Else but You” by The Moldy Peaches got featured in. I love that song when I found it off some random blog a couple of months back.

You’re a part time lover and a full time friend
The monkey on you’re back is the latest trend
I don’t see what anyone can see, in anyone else
But you

You are always trying to keep it real
I’m in love with how you feel
I don’t see what anyone can see, in anyone else
But you

I Am Legend will be another one of my 734566 reminders why I should not watch ghost/alien/zombie shows.

Usually, I try not to watch them not only because I do get scared but because I laugh out loud at the scary parts.

As it was the first show of the day, I dare not laugh since there were only three other strangers in that small theater.

So there was this part of the movie where I was (unexpectedly) scared and I grabbed my sides so hard I think they’ll be bruised tomorrow πŸ˜•

On Sunday, Team Artello (minus Lizhen) had dinner at Kenny Rogers at Marina Square with Kang Jun and Janneth. It was a combined dinner for both of them since we wanted to show our appreciation for teaching and guiding us for months for the former, and a gathering before the latter goes into BMT.

Food was great! Great because they had my macaroni and cheese πŸ˜€ I remember back in the past, I refused to eat Kenny Rogers if they had no mac and cheese.

The Man paid it all  and refused to take any of our money. He said that all we needed to do was train hard for National Championships.
