So I wanted to upgrade to WordPress 2.8.1 (gosh! So fast?!) but I forgot the password to backup my files before doing any upgrade. (Also, apparently, instead of deleting all the old files and uploading the new ones before running the upgrade page, I can simply click on a button on the dashboard and viola!—my blog would be magically upgraded to the latest version.)

Anyway, I’d like to say that Tumblr is extremely addictive especially if you’re into pretty things (paper, craft, illustration), photography, quotes and sad secrets. I spend more time re-blogging instead of posting at Twitter ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m hoping that Despair would be back soon. I have been helping Naco with the checking of members and I must say that it is not an easy feat ๐Ÿ˜•

On a side note, it’s my cousin Jolene’s wedding today. Hope the dinner would be as good as the last one ๐Ÿ˜€

… today’s the big day!

Let me just say that no, I’m not excited and, no, I’m not nervous. I’m just very, very sleepy! ๐Ÿ˜ฅ

Last week the 7ners threw a hen night for me. It wasn’t anything riotous but we had fun dinnering at a pasta/pizza place and then a girls’ night at a hotel. They presented me with… cupcakes with a pair of boobs on them ๐Ÿ˜• Along with two lingerie sets from Pierre Cardin. Well, thank you very much! As girly as it was ๐Ÿ˜€

It was Lynn’s wedding last Sunday and I must say: Congrats Lynn! I’m happy for you ๐Ÿ™‚

Anyway, I didn’t do much on the eve besides collecting the gowns and flowers. In fact, I had to settle quite a number of last minute stuff. I also did my nails ๐Ÿ˜• Something that I really don’t enjoy. My french manicure is destroyed but it’s not that obvious from afar. NO MORE MANICURES FOR ME! ๐Ÿ˜ก

I should really turn in. The beautician would be here in less than three hours! ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

I am growing to be a rather lazy blogger. I’m sorry! But my excuse is that I take forever to edit photos and blog them properly in a post. If I feel like I don’t spend a good hour on a post (with photos), I feel like I blogged in a rather half-assed manner ๐Ÿ˜•

My dad is super hilarious. He went to KL and Genting with my mom and asked to borrow my Sony digital camera. When they arrived home last night (after four days), I found only 51 photos taken! To think I cleared almost 500 photos (that’s about 1GB) for him :mrgreen:

As Mother’s Day is this Sunday, I’d like to wish my mummy dearest a Happy Mother’s Day!

So I have decided that I really need to fix up this site. Well, not really on the layout since my inspirations have gone off in a puff of cloud and I have no love for making a layout at the moment.

Anyway, I have been staying home lately and catching up with the final season (or so I’ve heard) of Prison Break. Currently, no episodes are being aired for the time being. New episodes are coming back in April. Exciting! ๐Ÿ˜€

I found it quite hard to believe that Guan didn’t pick up this show (and the only other shows I know he watches are HIMYM (thanks to yours truly), House and American Dad). He doesn’t even watch Heroes! (Oh! The horror!)

So I fed him with the first season (of Prison Break) and he was hooked. So once he’s done till the last episode (which is episode 16 of the 4th season), I’ll start him with Heroes ๐Ÿ˜‰ He claims it’s too confusing so it looks like I’ve a lot of explaining to do ๐Ÿ˜•

So it was Jo’s 24th birthday and we celebrated at Spageddies. This year for her, we didn’t get a cake so we could invest more on the present ๐Ÿ˜‰

The food was disappointing and it would probably be the last time I ever dine there. Then again, the first and last time I dined there before Friday was almost a good five years ago. A lot has changed.

Saturday was spent lazing around and watching the first season of Prison Break again.

On Sunday, Guan and I went to Funan DigitaLife Mall to get my DVD fixed. Apparently there’s something on my discs but I have no idea what ๐Ÿ˜• And when we asked around, apparently, no one in the IT mall knew what the hell was wrong with my precious DVD ๐Ÿ™

After that, he spotted this 1TB harddrive that came with a free speaker that he wanted some time ago (the speaker, that is. The harddrive was something he wanted a couple of weeks ago after his iMac was running out of space). And since I just received some money thanks to the government, we splurged on it at one go. So now I’m a poor girl ๐Ÿ˜•

Anyway, we were at the bookstore and I saw awesome cookbooks so for the past couple of days, I have been going through food and baking blogs and now I just feel like hitting the kitchen and making a mess in it. The problem is that I don’t have an oven. The microwave died like a few months back ๐Ÿ™

And I gave up finding an admin job. Decided to go with the boring bar job. There has been some issues but I guess I’m just making waves wherever I go. I can never get along with the management. Seriously ๐Ÿ˜›
